NEAL DALTRY - Class of 1938

Football, Track. Pennsylvania State Track Champion in the 880 and twice in the Mile Relay.


BILL MORGAN - CLass of 1940

Football, Track. Pennsylvania State Track Champion in the low hurdles in record time as well as PIAA State Champ on the 880 Yard Relay Team. District Champion. On the football team he was the leading rusher and scorer.


LINDA ROHRER OLSEN - Class of 1958

Field Hockey, Basketball, Lacrosse. Received seven varsity letters, 3 in field hockey, 2 in basketball and 2 in lacrosse. Field hockey captain. Played varsity field hockey and basketball for two years at Gettysburg College. Was high scorer in field hockey.


MARJORIE “Budgie” GROTZ RICE - CLass of 1950

Field Hockey, Basketball. First inductee of the 50-Plus category. Described in the 1950 Chester Times as the All-Time Great Guard of 1950.


JACKIE BOWERS SCHEIER - Class of 2001

Field Hockey, Basketball, Lacrosse. Field Hockey: Captain. First team All Central League and News of Delaware County. Basketball: Captain junior and senior year. Lacrosse: First team All Delco her junior and senior year; First team All Central League; Scoring leader. Played varsity lacrosse at Notre Dame University.


BOB SING - Contributor

An outstanding athlete in his own right and a hall of famer at Ursinus College, Dr. Robert Sing has been the School/Team Doctor for Springfield School District from 1988 through the present. He has done extensive work for Springfield students over the years.


TOM SLATE - CLass of 1992

Lacrosse. An outstanding player in high school, he was All American, All State, All Central and All Delco. He played professionally with the Philadelphia Wings and Barrage and was part of five world championship teams. He won the PIAA state championship while serving as head coach at Downingtown East High School.


CLIFF SWEZEY - CLass of 1950

Track. Pennsylvania State Track Champion in the High Jump.
