STEVE TODARO - cLASS OF 78

Contributor. Over a 29 year period, Steve volunteered his services as an athletic trainer, or licensed physical therapist, to any coach or athlete at Springfield High School who asked, often giving up his time and money at all hours of the day and all days of the week. He began working with the football and wrestling teams in 1980, but continued to help other coaches who asked. He also began working with the girls track team in the early 80s. Coaches marvel at how thorough he was with their injured athletes and how quickly he had them back on the field, mat or court. In addition to physical contributions over the years, Steve generously donated money to several sports groups and certainly to all who asked. In his high school playing days he played football (captain), wrestling and baseball.
