SUSAN GAINES - cLASS OF 1987

Volleyball, Winter Track, Spring Track. Outstanding Female Athlete, 1987. Captain & MVP in Volleyball, Winter & Spring Track. 4 years All-Delco in Track. Holds school record in the 100m hurdles and county record for the high jump. Was 10th in States her senior year in the 100m hurdles. Won 3 State medals in the high jump with a gold medal in her senior year. Susan is the only female in track to own a state gold medal at Springfield. Susan attended West Chester University, where she holds the record in the heptathlon.

MARK KRAUTER - cLASS OF 1983

Soccer, Basketball, Baseball. Outstanding Male Athlete, 1983. All-Central and All-Delco goalie in soccer & Baseball Jr. & Sr year. All State goalie in 1983. Teams won Central league titles in all sports 1982 & 1983. District champs in soccer and eastern finalists in basketball. Attended Quinnipiac College where he was starting goalie for 4 years and All New England Division II his senior year.

Football, Wrestling, Baseball. Outstanding Male Athlete, 1989. Captain, senior year in football, wrestling and baseball. 96 career wins and two time All-Delco in wrestling. 160 lb District 1 champion, second place regional and state qualifier in 1989. Graduated from VMI in 1993.
