Steve Todaro, (pictured left), President of the Springfield Area Educational Foundation (SAEF) and Don Mooney, (far right), Executive Director of Operations at the Springfield School District and SAEF board member, accepted a check for $1000.00 from Terri Lannon, Executive Director of the Sun East Foundation. The check was presented to support the educational program opportunities and mission of SAEF at the Springfield High School.
"Supporting our local school districts is needed more than ever during these uncertain times," said Lannon. "We hope this donation will greatly help SAEF's work with students and teachers in need of innovative teaching programs this school year. Investing in education is the most important gift we can give our students. We, at Sun East Foundation, share a strong commitment with SAEF to improving public education." she added.
"The generosity of our donors to support world-class curriculum to our students is one of SAEF's greatest rewards. The SAEF board of directors wish to thank Sun East Foundation for their philanthropic efforts and dedication to our student and teacher program successes this challenging year"' noted Todaro.
