A Time for Memories & Personal Reflection
SHS welcomed the Class of 1965 back to school for a Reunion Weekend, featuring
a tour of the new high school campus led by Stan Johnson SHS '69, and a
festive luncheon at the Rolling Green Golf Club. There were also two Meet &
Greet evenings with dinner for the class at the Springfield Country Club. The
reunion, attended by approximately 50 enthusiastic classmates, was managed by
reunion chair Jean Moss Clemons, SHS '65, of Villanova.
The class of baby boomers is one of the largest to graduate from Springfield
High School. After event postponements for two years due to the pandemic, the
class was able to reunite this October.
"The response to this long-awaited special occasion has been very gratifying.
It was wonderful to see our classmates again! " Clemons said. "We are proud of
each other, and were close, but we are even closer now."
